When does billing and shipping occur?
You'll be charged immediately upon subscribing. Boxes are shipped around the 20th of the month and will arrive at your home within 2 to 8 business days. Subscriptions auto-renew around the 5th of the month. Customers that subscribe after our shipping day will not receive that month's box, and the subscription will not be auto renewed until after the first box is received.
What is your return and refund policy?
Our boxes, books, and guides are not eligible for return or refund. However, please contact us at email@example.com if your items were damaged upon arrival. Please attach a picture of the damaged product. We'll replace your damaged items at no cost to you.
What if I get a book I already own?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Send us a picture of your old book and new book together. We'll include an extra book in your next box at no cost to you. Feel free to gift or donate your duplicated copy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
We hate to see you go! However, canceling is always simple. There's no time commitment to adhere to when subscribing to The Story Box. At anytime, you can simply log into your account to cancel. You can also email us at email@example.com and we can help you cancel. Keep in mind that subscriptions renew on the 5th of the month, so please cancel before then if you don't want to be charged. Renewals are final and not refundable.
Do you ship internationally?
We are only serving the United States at this time.
How do you select the books?
The books in our boxes are selected by parents and nationally certified speech-language pathologist. Our top priorities are to select books that are fun for families, lead to learning, and are a good value. To learn more about the books we like, visit our What's Inside page.
What kind of materials do you donate? Who receives the donations?
This is one of our favorite parts of The Story Box! A portion of each subscription fee is used to purchase and donate materials to benefit children with disabilities and children from low-income families. Usually, donations consist of books. Occasionally, we also donate toys and other education items that can be used to facilitate communication and literacy skills. Materials are donated to nonprofit organizations, charitable organizations, and professionals that serve our target recipients.
Is The Story Box geared towards a certain age group?
The Story Box is most appropriate for children between the ages of 0 and 6. Choose between three different package types to find the right fit for your kids.
